As the Dream Teacher spoke, his words were of Windwalker and of his journeys visions. They were filled with dream symbols and the wisdom of spirit given to him by his ancestors.
Windwalker, I will speak of your visions, symbols, and their meaning. The path that you have chosen is clearly illustrated. As you look at the journey you have undertaken whether it is present, past, conscious or unconscious, it has brought you to the doorway of your true spirit. Through various experiences you have transmuted your whole existence. Your true nature needed to be revealed. Windwalker, I will bring you to the gates of a higher consciousness.
Your animal spirit guides have combined their energies. The snake, armadillo, turtle, swan, and butterfly have assisted you in connecting with that part of you that has been fragmented for so long. They have brought you to the beginning of a new life and have connected you with spirit.
The snake that floats above the steps of wisdom indicates that, as you journeyed to the path of wisdom, you had to undergo many snake bites. This allowed you to transcend all poisons; these posions are lifes experiences, whether they are mental, physical, or spiritual in nature. Snakes shed their skins and exemplify the "Life-Death-Rebirth" cycle. Like the snake we must shed periodically our skins of consciousness. Our life's journey is based on living and dying every day in transcending all that we are.
From armadillo we learn what discrimination and personal protection is, through empathy we are able to share in another's emotions. Armadillo has saftey boundaries that are part of its total being. This symbol located on the last step indicates that it is only in the latter part of your journey that you were able to set boundaries. Armadillo has an excellent sense of smell that helps him find insects that are below the ground. What this teaches us is to look at situations more closely, go deeper and trust that sense of smell what we call our gut feeling it is usually right. Armadillo also has the ability to hold its breath underwater for about five minutes. It can walk underwater on the bottom of streams or float on the surface. This indicates the ability to explore and move from one dimension to another with protection.
Turtle, the oldest symbol of Mother Earth, it is the personification of goddess energy and eternal mother from which life evolved. We are born of the womb of the Earth and to her soil our bodies will return dust to dust. Turle has a shell similar to the protection that Earth has employed for centuries as her body has been defiled. The Earth's protection has come from plant growth, creation of new land masses by volcanoes, amd climate alterations.
Like Turtle, you also have shields that protect you from hurt, envy, jealousy, and unconsciousness of others. Turtle lives both on land and in water it can swim in the depths of the oceans or walk on land. It has the ability to shift from one reality to another.
The swan figure awakens and gives birth to powerful male and female energies exloding into cascades of living elements needing balance and nurturing. It awakens the true beauty within us all; it is a symbol of power, beauty, and grace. The black and white crescent moon holds the two pendulums in balance.
The moon and pendulum symbols are both expressions of the inner intuitive self. The tree of life rests on the doorstep of your present consciousness. At the highest point of the tree is the butterfly symbolizing transformation. It is a never ending cycle of self transformation. All of this is witnessed and proclaimed on Earth as it is in Heaven. Lightning descends in a flash or light announcing the awakening and birth of your true spirit.
